Hyderabad duo won the World Final in 2015 and now they are racing towards bringing the Cup back to India. Hyderabad hosted the third leg of the Tata Hitachi World Corporate Golf Challenge – India at the prestigious and beautiful Hyderabad Golf Course on February 16, 2019. The event saw more than 100 enthusiastic golfers participated for a spot in the National Final. The golf course was in a super condition and helped golfers play an excellent round of golf, we had some good scores recorded.
The format of the play will be 18 hole modified Stableford for both players off 3/4th handicap and the maximum handicap permissible for men and ladies is 24. Corporate India has won the prestigious World Finals in 2008 and 2015 and runner-up in 2014, 2011 and 2010 and now the Indian Regional Winners are working on their game to help them battle it out with the 40 other Country golfers at the World Final in July 2019.
Prestige Golfshire in Bengaluru will be the host of the fourth and final qualifier on March 2. The National Final will take place at the same venue the following day. One winner and one runner-up on March 3 will punch his ticket to the World Final in Portugal (July 3-7).
